The target making, this was Dad's idea! I went to a couple gun shows with him to promote his bullet resistant clip boards, and he asked me if there was anything out at that metal shop I worked at that I could make to sell at these shows. I said I don't know, what were you thinking? He said well all they have around here are paper targets with zombies, why not see what it takes to make metal targets? Metal is more fun to shoot, and lasts longer!

So, the idea was born, thanks to my Dad. 

I looked up popular target styles, especially the dueling tree. I researched all of the complaints folks had about them, and I made sure mine were built without any of those complaints.

Dad and I partnered at gun shows, for the next 9 years, selling his clipboards and my targets. He truly was my best salesman! 

My parents have been entrepreneurs their whole lives and raised me to do the same. So here I am, 10 years later, but on my own now, making a website and growing my "side hustle" as Dad would call it. He said it is always good to have a side hustle, never rely on one source of income. I build high quality targets out of AR500 steel for folks to enjoy for a long time.
